Denny Town Centre is receive a £1.4 million regeneration boost thanks to the latest funding announcement by the Scottish Government.

This award of £1.4 million towards the Denny Town Centre regeneration project, will help create a redeveloped town centre square combining a contemporary library with enhanced IT and community facilities.

In welcoming this news Falkirk West MSP Michael Matheson MSP said;
“Having campaigned for the redevelopment of Denny Town Centre alongside the community in Denny and Dunipace for a number of years I am absolutely delighted that the Scottish Government is helping to fund this project to regenerate its town centre.

“For far too long Denny and Dunipace have felt that they were forgotten and this funding will give a major boost to the town as well as making it a nicer place to live and shop.

“It has been a major priority of the Scottish Government to help regenerate town centres and now that Falkirk Council have received this additional funding there can be no more excuses from the council on completing the regeneration of Denny Town Centre”.
